A. Cancellation policy
Introduction
Consumers have a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity:
Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Arando OHG, Mühlenkamp 38, 28844 Weyhe, Germany, Tel.: +49 421 989 610 80, E-mail: info@arando-online.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You shall send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion of, or premature expiry of, the right of cancellation
The right of cancellation expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
General information
1) Please avoid damage to and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure, with suitable packaging, sufficient protection against transport damage.
2) Please do not return the goods to us carriage forward.
3) Please note that the aforementioned items 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
